 4 is a LGBT documentary that tells the LGBT story of four characters. Personal interviews with four LGBT people, which tell about self-discovery, self-acceptance, coming out of the closet, first love, gender, etc. Katz, author and illustrator of the book, tells about her first love. Paige, an Orthodox lesbian, talks about what it's like to find out you're a lesbian at the seminary. Mick, a gay man, recounts his experiences from the military and the murder at a youth bar. Valla, a bisexual transgender woman, talks about the transition between the sexes and her aspirations for the future as a doctor. The story unfolds before us in a series of personal and fascinating interviews
