Aya 50 is an autobiographical graphic novel about the childhood of the author Noa Katz. The house on Aya Street in Carmiel, where Noa Katz grew up, is for sale.
The creator has a wonderful ability to describe so-called trivial moments in the subjective and dramatic and poetic way in which they are experienced. It requires self-awareness and irony, but also lots of forgiveness and compassion. The author does it very beautifully, and what is obtained is a touching humanistic document that tells the author's personal story, and at the same time manages to describe a universal course of maturation in a bourgeois class.
- Max Solomon
You would think that there is nothing entertaining about being a lesbian in the closet and living in the periphery, but Noa Katz proves to us that it is actually laugh-out-loud.
-Rachali Rotner, Mako
In her graphic novel, Noa Katz describes her childhood and adolescence in Carmiel with sincerity, originality and a lot of humor.
Despite the sense of impatience that emerges from the book, Katz is on the right track to becoming a local comic book legend
